Education
Iola schools are part of the Unified School District #257, which also includes the cities of Gas and Laharpe. Iola schools provide students with a positive atmosphere encouraging students to excel in their pursuits. Both the High School and Middle School (pictured below)have been remodeled and expanded to provide students with the tools needed to succeed in today's world.
Unified School District #257 consists of the Iola High School, Iola Middle School, Lincoln Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School, McKinley Elementary School, and the Crossroads Learning Center, an alternative school.
