Article V. Buildings and Building Regulation
Building Permit Fees
The fees required by section 14-33 are as follows
(1.) New residential structures, including apartments, dormitories and their usual accessory buildings and additions (per 100 square feet of area) $1.50
Minimum fee $5.00
(2.) Commercial and industrial structures and all other uses including usual accessory uses and additions (per 100 square feet of area) $1.50
Minimum fee $5.00
(3.) Alterations and Repairs (inside fire zone only)
a. First $500.00 valuation (or fraction thereof) $2.00
b. Each additional $500.00 valuation (or fraction thereof) $.50
(4.) Fence and sign permit fees $5.00
(5.) Commercial and industrial roofing permit fee $5.00

Sec. 34-143. Electrical permit and inspection fees.
The fees required by section 14-125 are as follows:
Inside City Outside City
(1.) New residential service $75.00 $85.00
(2.) New commercial and industrial service 100.00 110.00
(3.) Electrical residential inspection 15.00
(4.) Electrical commercial and industrial inspection 25.00

Sec. 34-144. Electrical examination fee.
The fee required by section 14-232 is $10.00

Sec. 34-147. Plumbing permit and inspection fees
The fees required by section 14-271 are as follows:
(1.) Inspection of a residence
a. One family and two family $7.50
b. Others $15.00
(2.) Charges for repairs to streets or alleys:
a. Gravel $100.00
b. Concrete or asphalt $150.00

Sec. 34-148. Plumbing reciprocal license fee.

Sec. 34-149. Fees for examinations for master and journeyman plumbers.

(1.) Master plumber $10.00
(2.) Journeyman $5.00

(1.) Residential $10.00
