    Tickets are available for purchase at the Recreation Office for Silver Dollar City and White Water in Branson, MO or Schlitterbahn in Kansas City, KS. Child or Adult pricing based on location. Available at the Recreation Office during regular business hours. Please call 620-365-4990. We are not offering Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun tickets at this time.

  4. Upcoming!!! Scotts Pitch, Hit & Run Competition on Sunday, April 29th

    April 27, 2018, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Ball Field #1, Riverside Park, Iola

    Sunday, April 29th, Ball Field #1, Riverside Park, 4:00-6:30 pm. Pitch, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills. Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition. Age is determined as of July 17, 2018. No metal spikes are allowed! All other equipment needed for the competition will be provided. Participants may use their own bat. Any type of bat is acceptable. Register the day of the event, must have a parent/guardian signature.

    Year around. Monday and Wednesday evenings, excluding holidays and special events. 6:30-7:30 pm for 8th grade and younger accompanied by an adult; 7:30-9:00 pm for 9th grade and older. This is a time for basketball or walking. Please enter the northwest door of the gym.
